1. Who We Are

DASH Memories Inc. (“DASH Memories,” “we,” “us”) operates dashmemories.com and the DASH Memories memorial service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

Account information — your name, mobile phone number, and/or email address, which you provide to create an account and verify your identity. Memorial content — the photos, videos, audio, names, dates, and messages you upload. Order & payment information — delivery details and payment, processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers. Usage data — basic device and log information used to operate and secure the service.

3. How We Use Information

To create and display memorials, fulfill and deliver print orders, verify your phone number, send you service messages (such as one-time verification codes), process payments, provide support, and keep the service secure.

4. SMS / Text Messaging

When you enter your mobile number on our sign-up or sign-in screen and tap “Send code,” you consent to receive a one-time SMS verification code (two-factor authentication) from DASH Memories. Message frequency varies — you receive a message only when you request a code. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. No mobile information (including your phone number and your consent to receive text messages) will be shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the service (for example, our SMS carrier and payment processor), and only as needed to deliver the service you requested.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with (a) service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, SMS delivery, payment processing, print fulfillment), each bound to protect it; and (b) authorities when required by law. Memorials you choose to make public are visible to anyone with the link or QR code — that is the purpose of the service.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account or memorial is active, and as needed to comply with legal obligations. You can delete a memorial at any time; deletion removes it from the service subject to reasonable technical caching and backups.

7. Your Choices

You may opt out of verification texts by replying STOP. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@dashmemories.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
